Day 28
There is such a great deal of love and support from everyone we know. Not a day goes by without having someone wish us well or just sit down and talk. It started with family support, then coworker support, and now support from all our friends. At first, I was not sure how many people I wanted to let know about our website and ordeal. After discussing it with my wife, we decided that the more people that know, the better. We feel there is such need for support to those who suffer from cancer. I was not able to find one support book in the bookstore about a month ago. If 1 in 5 people develop cancer, support is greatly needed. I hope more and more people are able to share in our experience. The more insight we can obtain, the more output we can share.
Jackie is doing great. She is getting ported this Tuesday, so most likely chemo will start on Wednesday. I hope there are no side effects to the surgery, because the last lymph node biopsy is still swollen. One of the doctors mentioned about a hemangioma? At least tomorrow is Friday again, which means I have the whole weekend to care for my wife. Life is good today.
